Thought I should introduce myself!
I’m a twenty-something girl who wants my life to be lived for Christ’s glory and the good of others. One of my favorite ways to do that is through words.

I haven’t always liked writing, and I laugh because that sounds unbelievable now. My mom jokes that getting me to write one sentence in kindergarten was like pulling teeth, but now I can’t stop! It all started when she read the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I was six. I became entranced with writing, and soon had notebooks filled with illustrations and stories. To this day… I have so many notebooks. It’s sort of ridiculous. 🙈 Writing is one of the main ways I process, have fun, and enjoy this precious, God-given gift of life!
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I’m an avid lover of rainy downpours (when I’m cozy inside, that is) and fantastic sunsets. Even though I’m not a particularly outdoorsy person, I love spending time outside enjoying God’s beautiful creation. ☀️
I was homeschooled (where are all my homeschool homies at??) for every year of school except first grade. I learned a lot about doing life, having responsibilities, and a godly work ethic during my upbringing. I’m incredibly thankful for the sacrifice of both my parents so that I could experience a Christ-centered education at home and through the homeschooling community.
In early 2024, I married the earthly love of my life, Janssen! 🫶🏻🤍 We became friends back in 2018 through a young adults Bible study at our former church. As I got to know him better in group settings, I was really drawn to His love for the Lord, care for others, and earnestness to pursue sound doctrine. In 2019, I timidly prayed that he would pursue me, and little did I know what the Lord had (and has) ordained for us. We started dating in 2022, went through a heart-wrenching breakup and sweet reconciliation, and the Lord brought us back together in 2023. (Obviously that’s just the short version.) Janssen and I got engaged that fall and were married the following spring! Every day together is a gift and we’re grateful for the Lord growing and leading us in our marriage. It’s amazing how marriage is so beautiful, and yet it’s just a picture of Christ’s love for His Bride.
Though my life experiences may look totally different from yours–praise God He makes us all beautifully unique!–my prayer and desire is that you’re encouraged, challenged, and equipped to cling to Christ through the unchanging TRUTH of His Word and the glorious good news of Christ. ✝️
And if you’re not a follower of Jesus yet, that you will see how amazing, good, and worthy God is. I pray you turn to Christ for forgiveness and new life in Him! There is no good apart from Him (Psalm 16:2) and Christ alone is the Way to reconciliation and relationship with God (John 14:7).
I’m grateful you’re here!!
